26/4/10 - Thurs

4 of us went Suntec for lunch Pearl River City Restaurant. Each person paid $4 after using $150 voucher. Food is so-so except for the peking duck and dessert are good~

crispy duck skin wrapped in egg wrap...the meat is stir fried with ginger and onions. Meat is very tender~

Met Kat to watch movie @ Cineleisure's Cathay (Monga). The movie is fantastic!

Had KFC for dinner.... Seems like it is a Long time since i last eaten at KFC

Dinner was at Punggol Park's Bliss Cafe. I like that place since Fisherman Village is too far for me to go...

Met Kat at Somerset at 8+. Late for almost 1 hour due to work (Stupid pc is slow in loading email file for email broadcast)

Bought iphone case and dinner at Cineleisure's Shokudo.

I am not flying to BKK this Sunday. Show will be postpone to 16-18 June. Guess I will be celebrating my bday at BKK if there is any. -_-

Miami Trip (20/3-29/3, 2010)

20/3, Sat



dinner with family (Crystal Jade Shanghai Restaurant) before checking in at 10pm at Changi T3...

food is good =)

Took SQ 26 to Frankfurt (13 hrs) then transit 2 hrs before flying to NY (another 7hr 50 min flight). Upon reaching NY at around 1200, took skytrain from T4 to T3 to check-in to domestic flight (Delta Airlines). Reached Miami at 10.05pm (2 hr delay) and cabbed to Indian Creek Hotel once i retrieved my luggage (waited for 30 min ++). KO after bathing and unpacking.

22/3, Mon

Wake up at 8am ++ and walk to exhibition hall at 10 am ++ after complimentary breakfast in hotel (water, coffee, tea, orange juice, muffins, cinnamon rolls etc). I stayed at 27th street, exh hall is at 19th street -_-

Shopping at Victoria Secrets & Macy before having dinner at some cafe. The seafood cream base pasta I'd is good. dun feed gross if i finish eating all.

3 bottles of lotions + bag only at USD21 before tax! Underwears at 7 for USD 25 before tax. Cheap!

23/3, Tue

Took the broadway walk behind hotel to go to exhibition hall. Longer route but beautiful scenery....

Had lunch at Ms Yip, nice Chinese food

Dinner at Creek 28 Restaurant located in hotel. Shared some morocco stew with colleague. Surprisingly, it is filling..

24/3, Wed

1st day of the show, had staff dinner at Creek 28 Restaurant after cocktail reception in the exh hall..

The nice private area we had..

grilled pork chop is very tender, tried thyme ice-cream - interesting flavour..

Cabbed down to Ocean Drive with P and A after we visited VP's hotel room. He is SO lucky to get a suite (2 bedroom + spacious living room). His hotel room is located outside, like a mini apartment.. Walked around at Ocean Drive since i've nv been there before. took pic with cobra (USD 20). I was only supposed to help colleague take pic, in the end i was pulled in to take pic so that the photographer can charge USD 10 extra..

25/3, Wed

Dinner at Ocean Drive's Finnegan. The steak I had is huge portion! Cant finish all, only manage to finish 3/4 + 2 mojito drinks..

Went 'MANGO' to check out the place, it is Happening lor... Not a sleazy place.. Paid USD 10 for cover charge.

26/3, Fri

Left exh hall at 4.30 and cabbed to Bayside Mall to buy 'Bath & Works' products. I bought the aromatherapy body lotions and body foam. Very nice smell.... Damage : USD 100+

Rocky road ice-cream at USD 8, I find Bayside mall look abit like Phuket's Jungceylon..
The cabfare costs USD 50+ due to traffice jam -_- I ask boss to claim from company =x

Meet A for dinner at Ms Yip, the bbq ribs sux. Not as nice as what we ate during lunch time..

I found a new store - ULTRA, it sells alot of US brands cosmetics =D

27/3, Sat

Cabbed to airport after checking out at 12pm. KNS.. i have to pay USD25 to check-in 1 luggage and i was charged USD90 for excess baggage. Breakfast/lunch at airport - Nathan's Philly cheesesteak bun + water)

Board domestic plane at 1445, reached NY at around 1800.

Check in SQ and dinner was at Sbarro (pepperoni pizza + water).. Shopped around before going in to Gate B31 at 2030...
