Buckeroo

Dinner with friends just now at Buckeroo which is located at Jln Kandis. Restaurant is opposite landed property residential area. The food portion is HUGE. 4 of us shared 1 mushroom soup, chessie fries, 1/2 dozen of their specialty wings and 1 combo platter. All of us were very full after that =S haha.. as usual 1 friend and i will drink. This time round it is Hoegarden draught *wink*

Normal Wed night

Worked till 10pm then dinner with friend at Geylang, went to have the beef hor fan and oyster egg *yummy*

Then went to hang out at Changi Beach while sipping beer and red wine. Had a kinda long talk then home sweet home..

Think I am getting old liao, seldom club on Wed night =x

Work work & work

So freakin BUSY with work, everthing also requires time & due immediately. *wtf*

Weather

I am so going to die.. it is freaking -2 deg in New York!!!! Hope the weather will stablize when i go over in 2 weeks time.

Luckily Miami's weather is around 22 deg. *phew*

Meet up with cousin, my niece and my sis at Vivo last Friday. Elise is the future shopping Queen. hahaha...

Rushed home at 10pm to send mum 2 hospital for emergency check up :(

There will be a follow-up appt when I am back in SG next month, hope everthing will be ok...

Dinner @ Chijmes

Went for dinner at Bobby Rubino's at Chijmes yesterday. I like their steak and drinking Erdinger beer =)

Received a surprise post-vday gift from friend....

Went to Changi beach to see see after dinner and friend drove pass the bapoks area, but i only get to see 2 =x

Countdown

Cant believe I am still at work now. Been working late since Jan 2008. AHHhhhhhhhhh!! nvm.. countdown....3 more weeks.

Over the weekend

Friday

Met up with friends and went DF on Fri. It was fun dancing with the girls ^_^ I saw my ex-colleague from DBS last time but didnt join him at Bellini Room for a drink. nvm, there is always a next time.
Went off at 3 plus.. cant stay out till 5am as I gotta go bai nian at Jean's place after class on Saturday.

Saturday

Went over to Jean's new place in the noon to bai nian in the noon. Had buffet lunch. Her new place is very nice!

Left at 4+ to meet friend for dinner and movie in town. Dinner at Manhatten Fish Market then watch Kungfu Dunk. I cant believe I fell asleep during the beginning part of the show. -_- Off to have Selegie's Tao Huei after movie then home sweet home.

OE 30th Anniversary dinner

Went to Orient Explorer's 30th Anniversary dinner on Wednesday after work at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.
Lo Hei after 'Welcome Speech' by the Executive Director. Everyone was very hungry by then (8.30PM)
Food is finally served after another speech from Puggol MP. It is a 5 course western meal.

Games and entertainment were provided throughout the meals. As usual I kena sabo to "represent" the group but.... i siam and let my colleague do the job. heh... Each table is given a red packet containing "Happy Family" cards. The objective is to find a pair of the same family cards and go claim the Ang Bao Prize. Stupid me thought need 4 cards and I go searching for the other 2 cards when my colleague and I already got same family card -_-"Another game is which everyone is to reach under their chair for some coupon to redeem Ang Bao. I got it & it is a $10 Taka voucher. Another game segment is which they play music from 1970s-1980s and we are suppose to guess the title name, movie, singer etc to get prize (Weekend hotel stay in Ritz-Carlton & other hotels).

haha.. most of the participants are old people as commented by the emcee =x

1 stalk of rose is given to all the ladies after the American Doctor invited from USA finish singing Love songs..

Off to Winebar for a drink after that.

Valentine's Day 2008

I got 2 surprises in the office during the late afternoon while busy working. 2 lovely bouquets of flowers were sent to my office of which 1 was personal delivery.



Dinner with friend at Millenia Walk's Outback Steakhouse. The steak is not too bad but it will be overcooked if you leave it on the hot plate for too long. So you must keep turning it around like Cooking MaMa game *lol*

Company CNY Lunch

Just came back from CNY lunch at Meritus Mandarin (8 course meal). Feeling very full and sleepy. *ZzzZzzz*

Lunch is not too bad. heh..

At the Pine's Court Restaurant. Getting ready for 'Lo Hei'.

The 'Lo Hei' dish which contains scallop, salmon and the other veggies..

The sharks fin soup. *slurps* Plenty of shark fins, though having too much of the soup makes one feel 'gelat'.

Lastly, the FOC fruit basket served to us cos the HR complained that the fish served was too tough.

Reminiscence of 2007 trips

France (Nice & Paris) in March

Went to Nice for exhibition and then extended for 2 days in Paris for personal holiday trip.

Nice is a very nice place (beautiful buildings, scenery etc) & I love the beach there ^_^

Effiel Tower & the views from the top. Paris scenery is romantic at night...

• Time taken to purchase tickets: 2.5 hours
• Time to get up & down: 30 min wait -_-

Went to Arc de Triomphe, Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, take a tour bus to get to the tourist attractions and shopping! Kinda disappointed that I did not get to go Louvre Museum due to the long snake queue.

I love HK! heh.. Great place for dim sum, shopping + sight-seeing =D
